Put jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first when coming home. Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray and household cleaning products — these are the most common cause of dulling and damage over time.

Most pieces can be cleaned at home with warm water, a tiny amount of mild soap, and a soft brush. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and abrasive cloths unless specifically recommended for the piece.

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches. Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures, which can affect certain stones and finishes.
